I just emitted one of those really high pitched screams that girls do when:
a) they’re really excited, or
b) they’re trying to communicate with dolphins.
Okay, so I have rather eclectic musical tastes. It’s a strange combination of folk/mellow/soft rock/rock/oldies/pop/Spanish/trance/techno pop/musical soundtracks/indie shit and country.
But here it is: I love country. Pssssssssssh — judge me if you want!
But The Beatles will always be my number 1. And Kenny Chesney.
I have been in love with Kenny Chesney since I was 13 years old. It’s a 5 year love affair — pretty one-sided because he never tours in Canada. Except this year.
And he came to Ottawa.
Last night.
HOLY FRIGGING SHIGOYEWTOUEWTY*%$#(YTUI.
It was magical.
He’s 41 and bald but gosh darn he is the love of my life.
Him and Paul McCartney.
(I wish that they would have a love child. With a little bit of Edward Norton thrown in, and a pinch of Clint Eastwood.)
The opening acts were super sick too — Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert.
Kenny Chesney made eye contact with me. I know you don’t believe me but I swear to
everything good and holy in this world that he looked right at me.

It was very exciting.
