Another visited city: MULTAN (city of the holy people)
Few years ago it was mandatory for tourists to be escorted by armed police in this city. Nowadays I’m not sure if it’s still mandatory but in order to avoid problems and extra questions while walking around, we decided to follow the government rules.
We spent 24 hours in Multan and we got 6 armed police men:
– 2 for the morning visit to the tombs
– 2 for the afternoon visit to the bazaar
– 2 for the highway from the hotel to the exit of the city while leaving
