I am proud to call Saanich home. My wife, Keeley, and I are long-time Saanich residents. We have a two-year-old son and recently welcomed the birth of a baby girl in April. We also have two dogs – a beagle and a golden retriever.
I was first elected to Saanich Council in 2008 and re-elected in 2011. It’s an honour to serve as your Saanich Councillor.
I am dedicated to enhancing our transportation options, providing affordable housing, protecting our climate, green space, and farmland, and promoting sustainable growth.
I chair the Healthy Saanich Committee and am Vice Chair of the CRD Water Supply Commission. I am the former chair of Sierra Club Victoria and former Vice President of the Quadra Cedar Hill Community Association.
I graduated from Clarement Secondary and have Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Victoria. I specialize in policies affecting our health system, and I am a Manager of Public Health Planning with the BC Ministry of Health.
