I did a shoot for a new tutorial. White or nearly white background and two lights in several different configurations. This shot is done with what I call an "over and under" setup. One umbrella on camera axis above the camera and tilted down a bit to light the face and a second umbrella below the camera tilted a bit up to work as a powerful fill. The background is simply a poster board very close to Briana. As you can see, this kind of light presents a faux "ringlight" look to the shadows.
Lighting Info: two matched power strobes in matching sized umbrellas. In this case the top umbrella is a more ‘poppy’ zebra umbrella with panels of silver and white, and the lower one is satin white. Camera position is between them.
