SIALKOT, May 17: – In Daska, the people including the heirs of the accused Abdul Razzaq, today, staged a peaceful agitational anti-Daska police rally in Daska and they staged also staged a sit-inn in front of Daska City police station and the offices of ASP Daska, as a protest against the alleged “highhandedness” of Daska police for implicating a youth Abdul Razzaq into a case of the kidnapping and raping a minor girl Fatima (6) about two weeks ago. The protesting people were holding agitational banners and placards and they chanted anti-police slogans. The chests beating women were also shouting “we want justice, we want justice”. They said that their youth Abdul Razzaq was innocent and the Daska police was implicating him into the said case, in a bid just to release the pressure of the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, regarding the early arrest of the actual culprits. The protesting women also laid down on ground in front of the main gate of Daska City police station and they lodged their strong protest against the Daska police, in this regard.
Later, the protestors dispersed peacefully after lodging their strong protest against the Daska City police.
The grieved family of the alleged main accused rapist Abdul Razzaq has urged the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court (LHC) Khawaja Muhammad Sharif , Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Inspector General of Police Punjab Tariq Saleem Dogar to save their child Abdul Razzaq from the clutches of Daska City. Addressing a largely attended press conference at Daska city here today, the accused Abdul Razzaq’s brothers Hafiz Ghulam Mustafa, Ghulam Murtaza and Muhammad Ashfaq feared that the Daska City police would kill their brother alleged rapist Abdul Razzaq into a fake police encounter. They said that the accused was innocent but the Daska police brutally torturing him physically and forcibly admit this sin. They said that the Daska police have also pulled out the nails of the fingers and thumbs of accused Abdul Razzaq’s hands. The police have also badly fractured the ribs and other bones of the accused during the custodial torture of police, they added.
They said that this was totally inhuman and cruel practice. They said that the police was not conducting the DNA of accused Abdul Razzaq in this case, saying the minor victim Fatima (6) had recognized the accused Abdul Razzaq as the main rapist. Police claimed that the victim’s reorganization was enough to nab the accused. The grieved family of the accused said that the DNA test of the alleged accused was vital to resolve this nasty case, but the Daska police was denying his DNA test in Fatima girl case, saying that after the reorganization of the accused Abdul Razzaq by the victim Fatima there was no need of any DNA test, in this regard. The grieved that their child Abdul Razzaq was totally innocent in this case and the senior police officials (including Sialkot DPO Waqar Ahmad Chohan and ASP Daska Dr. Mian Saeed Khan) were implicating Abdul Razzaq in this case just to release the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s pressure from their shoulders.
They said that if accused Abdul Razzaq would be proved as guilty then they would themselves shoot the accused Abdul Razzaq to death in Daska City’s congested Fawara Chowk. The grieved urged the LHC Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif and Punjab CM Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to provide them justice and take serious notice of the Daska police’s brutal physical torture on the accused Abdul Razzaq. The grieved family also announced to knock every door for getting justice and saving their child from Daska police clutches.
Meanwhile, during an important held at Daska Bar Association here today, the Joint Action Committee (JAC) declared that despite making the hectic efforts, the Daska City police still remain unable to arrest the actual culprits involved and wanted in the recently held nasty incidents of rape if minor girl students after their abduction Daska city. President Daska Bar asked the senior police officials to conduct the immediate DNA test of the arrested accused Abdul Razzaq with victim Fatima (6) and bring the facts before the people. Joint Action Committee (JAC) also assured its full cooperation to Daska police regarding the early arrest of the actual culprits. JAC also demanded immediate release of the innocent people from Daska police custody, in this regard…#
