NORTH HOLLYWOOD – Just before 2:00 PM on Wednesday June 4, 2014, the LAFD responded to an Auto vs Pedestrian call near the Hollywood Fwy on-ramp. Tragically three teenage females, from Oakwood School, were struck by a small car and required rapid treatment by Firefighter Paramedics. They were transported to local Trauma Centers in critical condition. The solo occupant adult male driver of the vehicle was also transported to a local hospital in non-life-threatening condition. LAFD remained on scene to work with school staff to make proper notifications and sent representatives to each hospital. LAPD investigated the cause.
