Majority of the officers of motorway police have joined on deputation from Punjab Police, Army and Navy Because of the best job and salary structure of the department. Some officers of Inspector rank are getting Rs. 50,000/month. This is why some of these deputationist officers have quitted their parent department and permanently joined Motorway Police. The Inspector in this picture is such example.
