Texting a Girl You Like

Seems the girls you are not into respond right away. They jump when you text and often text you first. After a while, it’s just not as much fun anymore. Why is that? Could it be that it is a basic male as well as female instinct. We want what we don’t have and enjoy the thrill of the chase. Chances are good the girls that are texting you back and eager are now boring you. Which flips the coin, makes you more desirable because you will start to pull back and she holds on tighter. Plus she is not the girl you really like.

When texting a girl you like, it’s helpful to try and think of her as one of the texting queen girls you don’t really like. You don’t want to be rude, but seriously, you don’t want to sound desperate or let on that she might matter to you. A girl likes some mystery. Don’t text her 10 minutes after you get her number for sure, that spells desperation. Wait a couple days. A couple days is nothing. Plus you can use this time to decide on something clever to say.

When you text a girl you like, you want to be humerous, not boring and not like all the other “guys”. That means, no “Hello Beautiful, or Sexy”. Save the compliments for later, and use them sparingly, especially in the beginning. No, “How r you” either please. Spell the words out, don’t use the symbols or abbreviations. Emoticons are good, a smile means you were joking around. One smile will do, don’t use more than one emoticon and use those sparingly too, but use the smiley when you are kidding around.

I am a girl, I know lots of girls. A lame text message will make us roll our eyes. You want to make us smile. You want your text to become an anchor to good feelings. We even assign you your own ring tone, but you knew that right? I have texted with many guys, but only 1 made my heart race when I knew it was him. I knew whatever he sent, I was going to smile, he was clever.
